Annual report 2019

DNS Belgium looks back with satisfaction on 2019, in which the figures turned out better than expected. The efforts we have been making for years to guarantee the security of the .be zone are now also being rewarded.

Both the renewal of the registration of existing domain names and the new registrations exceeded our expectations in 2019. In addition, there was a lot of focus on cyber security. In 2019, we detected fraudulent use of .be domain names in various ways and removed them from the zone on the basis of objective criteria.
