Become a registrar
DNS Belgium itself does not register or manage domain names. We work with a network of registrars who use the registration system to register domain names for .be, .vlaanderen and .brussels for their customers.
We offer registrars two interfaces (EPP and web) that enable them to register their transactions and manage domain names on behalf of their customers in total security.
Differences between .be and .brussels/.vlaanderen

Become a registrar for .vlaanderen and .brussels
Only ICANN -accredited registrars are allowed to offer .vlaanderen/.brussels directly. In order to become icann-accredited, you need to:
- go through a number of technical phases
- sign a contract with icann
- pay the required fees
Read more about this process. At the present time, 2 Belgian and around 50 foreign .be registrars are accredited by icann.
icann-accredited registrars can then conclude a contract with DNS Belgium for the gTLD they wish to sell. Carefully read the following documents:

If you are not an icann-accredited registrar, but you do wish to offer .vlaanderen and .brussels, you can contact one of those icann-accredited registrars that have a contract with DNS Belgium and become a reseller.
