Vacancy: Corporate ICT officer

About you 

  • You're an IT expert with wide-ranging interests who likes to get things done.
  • You have at least 2 years of initial professional experience
  • You have experience working in a Mac environment and up‑to‑date knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and intrusion detection systems is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of central logging, Veeam, Jira and Confluence is an added value.
  • You're helpful  and enjoy being part of the Technology team.
  • You value a diversity of ideas and opinions and contribute to a positive team spirit.
  • You're creative  in finding solutions and like taking initiative.
  • You enthusiastically tackle simple questions and more complex problems.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.

Your job 

  • You work in an agile environment and provide ICT support to your colleagues. This includes:
    • Managing and supporting Apple laptops.
    • Maintaining and configuring Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Jira, Confluence and other internal tools.
    • Installing software, recovering documents and performing updates.
    • Maintaining and troubleshooting the internal network (WiFi, wired networks, firewalls).
  • You identify new needs and look for solutions, test tools and configure processes.
  • You safeguard security and business continuity. This includes:
    • Monitoring logs and data sources (newsletters, EWS systems, security feeds, etc.).
    • Performing security updates on laptops and servers.
    • Implementing and monitoring backup and recovery systems.
    • Improving security protocols where needed
  • You automate tasks with PowerShell where possible.
  • You support colleagues and raise awareness by:
    • Organising internal training sessions and workshops.
    • Helping colleagues in the use of new software and updates.
  • You work with external ICT partners and suppliers. This includes:
    • Coordinating Apple support with external experts.
    • Instructing and following up external suppliers.
  • You document and report. This includes:
    • Maintaining ICT procedures and tool configurations.
    • Documenting internal processes and maintaining the knowledge platform.
    • Reporting on the progress of ICT objectives.
  • You continue to develop professionally and share knowledge with colleagues.

 In-depth technical knowledge is essential. You're motivated to actively expand your knowledge and to grow in new domains you're not fully familiar with.

  • You are supported by a dedicated mentor and have regular feedback moments, allowing you to grow step by step in your role and to hone your professional skills.
  • You can handle a varied set of tasks and adapt easily to the needs of the organisation.
  • You report to the Technology unit lead.
