Your job will be to take a multidisciplinary team to the next level, while being responsible for marketing, communications, business development, CSR, R&D, product management and support. In conjunction with various external partners, you will also work on initiatives that strengthen our social impact.
In your role, you’ll combine strategy with action and translate ideas into tangible results that make the digital landscape more sustainable, secure and inclusive.

About you
- You have a minimum of 15 years of experience working in sales, marketing or business development, preferably in technology or innovation.
- You have experience with people management, along with building and managing teams.
- You are an inspiring leader capable of empowering people based on sociocratic principles such as equality, transparency and joint decision-making (S3).
- You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset: you like to maintain a general overview, but do not shy away from operational matters.
- You have a strong affinity with digital technology, ethics, privacy and technological autonomy.
- Sustainability is one of your core values. Not only are you inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), but you also actively promote these goals and help build a digital future that is ecologically responsible and socially relevant.
- You communicate clearly, convincingly and engagingly in Dutch, French and English.
- You are inquisitive, a team player and are able to work independently.

- To develop and implement
You will work with your team on a strategic sales and marketing plan that is totally in line with our corporate mission. - To manage and coach
You will build, motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team made up of sales, marketing, CSR, product, support and R&D professionals. - To identify growth opportunities
You will identify growth opportunities in markets or segments where digital independence is a necessity and then translate those insights into practical actions. - To build relationships
You will strengthen our ties with customers, partners and stakeholders and create new types of collaboration that will increase the impact we make. - To position us sustainably
You will position .be in the market as the most reliable and independent alternative to Big Tech: local, transparent and within our own control. - To inspire and activate
You will take proposals for campaigns, events, CSR and thought leadership initiatives and enhance them. You will make contributions in a stimulating and critical manner, enabling ideas to develop and having an impact.

We’re offering
A brand-new office close to the trendy Vaartkom area in Leuven. We are easy to get to by bicycle, public transport or car. Better still: our office has been designed with ease of access and comfort for us all, so that everyone who works there feels welcome and supported.
We have a staff of 39, spread across 4 departments: Digital Society, People and Business Services, GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) and Technology. Most people work on a hybrid system, so you’ll also be able to work from home. DNS Belgium enjoys a culture of openness, inclusivity and sustainability.
