Give your SME’s cyber resilience a boost

10 November 2025

The CYBER XP project will be landing in Leuven on 13th November. And DNS Belgium is delighted to be taking on the role of mentor and guide. The session itself will be tailored to suit SMEs that have up to 50 employees and that want practical and pragmatic tips on how to improve their cybersecurity.

Vulnerable SMEs

Small and medium-sized enterprises are the backbone of the Belgian economy – trouble is, many SMEs find themselves vulnerable when it comes to cybersecurity. A survey conducted by Beltug in the spring of 2025 shows that only 38% of SMEs have a cyberplan in place. CYBER XP aims to change that.

As part of the interactive session held on 13th November, participants will learn how to approach dealing with cyber incidents as a business. Working in small groups, they will explore scenarios that challenge them to respond quickly and thoughtfully.

What can you expect?

  • Exercises and cybersecurity games that deliver realistic simulations of cybersecurity incidents. Everything is run under the guidance of experienced coaches, such as our Chief Information Security Officer Kristof, who also plays an active role each year in the Cybersecurity Challenge.
  • Practical insights and tips that you can put to good use immediately.
  • Networking with like-minded business people.

At the end of the day, you as a participant will go home with a personalised action plan featuring three tangible quick wins that you can apply immediately in your organisation.

Approximately three months of coaching is scheduled for implementation of the action plan. Once those three months have elapsed, the SMEs will meet again for half a day to share their experiences, continue networking and learn from each other.

Who’s it for?

This session is aimed at small businesses looking to grow their digital resilience without the need to hire an IT team to make it happen. Whether you are a business owner, IT manager or operations manager, this session is for you – particularly if you are involved in the digital security of your organisation.
